About the Role
We are seeking a technical Area Sales Manager with expertise in process valves to cover the South East of England. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong technical background in fluid control, flow solutions, or industrial process valves. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities across multiple industries, including manufacturing, chemical processing, water treatment, and energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development – Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and growing an existing customer base.
- Technical Consultation – Provide expert advice on process valves and flow control solutions, ensuring clients receive the best products for their applications.
- Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Industry Engagement – Work closely with engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams within target industries.
- Target Achievement – Deliver and exceed sales targets while developing long-term business strategies.
- Market Awareness – Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in technical sales within process valves, flow control, or industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of valve applications in sectors such as manufacturing, chemical, water treatment, or energy.
- A track record of developing new business and managing key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and travel within the South East region.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
