About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven National Sales Manager to lead and develop sales within the pharmaceutical industry. Based in the South East of England, this role will involve managing a national sales team, driving business growth, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Leadership – Develop and implement a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
- Team Management – Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
- Business Development – Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Key Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
- Performance Monitoring – Track sales performance, provide reports, and make strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Market Intelligence – Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and regulatory teams, to ensure aligned sales efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a National Sales Manager, Sales Director, or Senior Sales Leader within the pharmaceutical industry.
- A strong track record of leading high-performing sales teams and driving business growth.
- Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing budgets and forecasts.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
