About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales and provide expert technical support for a leading pneumatics manufacturer. Covering the North West of England, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to customers in industrial, manufacturing, and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development – Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Technical Consultation – Provide expert advice on pneumatics products, helping customers select the best solutions for their applications.
  • Account Management – Develop long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Expansion – Identify new sectors and industries that could benefit from the company’s products.
  • Target Achievement – Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring continued business growth.
  • Industry Awareness – Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and advancements in pneumatics technology.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in technical sales within pneumatics, fluid power, automation, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic components, systems, and applications.
  • A track record of developing new business and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
